Attack of the Wild Turkeys

By | July 11, 2018

We get wild turkeys around our house in Vermont all the time. Sometimes we see whole mobs of ’em sprinting to and fro. But lately we’ve been seeing a few adults shepherding some chicks around. Very cute! I can’t help thinking this video needs the Imperial March (the “Darth Vader Theme”) synched to it. (If I actually did… Read More »

Ruined Songs

By | July 7, 2018

A Different Kind of Valentine’s Day

By | February 14, 2018

The lovely folks at the Vermont Lake Monsters minor league baseball team (short-season A, New York-Penn League) offered a special deal this year — for a low, low price, their team mascot, Champ, would deliver flowers, chocolates, a special customized card, and vouchers for two game tickets to the special person of your choice.
